I think it would be fun to have a short essay contest (max word limit) and have community members vote on it once in a while.
Sufficiently decentralized, promotes what’s interesting, and produces high quality content.
Could reward with a small prize (NFT award with token reward).

Embarrassingly, I haven’t checked out purple DAO’s discord server.
Been a bit burnt out from too many discord chat rooms talking about NFT drops.
One of the reasons for why I like warpcast is because the app is accessible.
Figure a time will come when walletIDs become integrated with the phone OS.

One hurdle might be that it takes effort to generate high quality posts.
A potential solution to this that I can see is using voice to text to transcribe what the person wants to write, paraphrase using GPT-4, and do a final proof read before publishing to lower the amount of work.

This issue was highlighted in the example of Snapchat vs. Instagram when it came to measuring network effects.
Instagram took a lot more effort for people to create posts, while Snapchat took a lot less effort to create posts.

The underlying hypothesis in all of this, of course, relies on people wanting to read quality content vs. mindless click farm shitposts.

Using gpt to outline an essay for you is a hack, because the generated assertions are “generally accepted.”
Taking it to the next level would be providing URLs to academically valid sources, supplementing the generated arguments.
Picking the URLs and having it paraphrased would be the cherry on top.

Of course, I was doing this at the time because I was offered to work as employee #1 at copyai during college.
Said no at the time because I thought any GPT based tools would be left defenseless if OpenAI struck a deal for too much money for exclusivity.
