I think there are two types of entrepreneurs... 1. They love the game of building a business and could build in any market as long as they can use their skills. 2. They need to be passionate about the problem they are solving to be motivated. Which one are you?

I‘m the one that just codes, fucking building a business. I‘m code and I‘m try to stay a float with money to code more

Recovering number 2

Noah Bragg 🤝

@nbragg

Why recovering?

Noah Bragg 🤝

@nbragg

Builders got to build.

KMac

1. Baked in since childhood.

Zach French

@zachfrench

This is interesting! Seems like an integration to would be consistent with the mission I will now write a bit more

Zach French

@zachfrench

Is there a preferred writing software or is a google doc

Two archetypes of successful* entrepreneurs. Another I’d seen is.. 3. Can’t deal with having a boss anymore

Noah Bragg 🤝

@nbragg

I think maybe you just continue replying more here in fc and saymore will put it all into one long thread?

GIGAMΞSH

@gigamesh

Huge respect for the #1s and they’re probably more talented on net but #2 changes history

tadas

@tadas336.eth

2. Picking the right goals/problems determines the quality of life entirely.

Mark

@markfishman

There are probably some variants of #1 that are less loving building and more “I couldn’t hold down a regular job”

Noah Bragg 🤝

@nbragg

yeah, that's probably true.

Mac Budkowski 🥝

@macbudkowski

Tried 1. but learned I'm 2.

Sam

@samantha

Used to be 2, now am 1 since I’ve realized capitalism has a chokehold on me

Cameron Armstrong

@cameron

Hi! I built this (and am working on improving the clarity in the UX) - so you can write on your own blog/substack if you have one and submit a permalink on Saymore.tv, or you can reply more in thread and tag me and I’ll roll it up into a custom permalink (automating this soon) 🫡

Tiggy

@willy

1 for sure

Jeff Feiwell

@hyper

2 for serious endeavors, 1 for messing around

Noah Bragg 🤝

@nbragg

Good answer! Seems like it's better for risky startups to be #2. And smaller biz ventures could be #1.

Lajos Deme

@silentrunner.eth

Mostly been 1 so far and did ok, but with my current project I'm 2 and honestly nothing compares to being passionate

petar

@petar

If I think of myself as an entrepreneur, I’d choose 2 🙂

Zach French

@zachfrench

Very cool! What about video? Thats my chosen form of content because it reduces friction from brain to communication. Or maybe I'm just lazy and need to write more? who knows

Cameron Armstrong

@cameron

That works too! Any content form as a response was the idea from the start (hence permalinks) but most people don’t do that here - when you record the video just head to Saymore.tv/c/zachfrench and you can accept/submit the link from there. Would love to hear your thoughts on the process after you’re done!

Zach French

@zachfrench

Most definitely.
