people here seem to believe that lens' numbers are fudged up. Maybe one could perform anti-sybil analysis on lens using anti-sybil legos created by the open data community.

I can tell you that they had a huuuuge problem with bots. Lately I don't spend too much time there. Bots seem to be away, but the conversations are not on par with what we have here.

Hmmm some of those anti-sybil legos are very good. I don't think I would be able to get a definite answer about lens' real users but those legos could definitely shed some light on things.
Will try to analyse it once I get time.

Bot posts have diminished because the free dispatcher is now limited to a somewhat curated list of users. Anyone can still post if they want to pay gas and some frontends have also funded their own dispatchers for their own users…but anyway, that’s why.

Most…maybe?? certainly a larger share than a month ago. I can tell you that my feed is basically 85% real people, but I also know the frontend apps have taken steps to hide content and notifications from “spammy” accounts. A lot of it is still there, I just don’t see it.
