The best thing to do is something that’s intrinsically fun for you
Then you won’t mind doing it alone, and it’s easier to find others to join you when you’re having fun doing it
Outside of work, writing & playing music has always been that thing for me, and it's getting more challenging to do that over time, plus moving a lot & limitations over the internet

Not much culture here but there's an open jam run by a Dead cover band that's been playing together for 30+ years
I introduced myself to them last week but it'll be a slow burn before they let me on stage
