This is really an experiment.

People love asking other Farcasters questions, but all of the earned secrets and stored work of writing them out disappears after only a few days.
SayMore is a mechanism to keep those ideas and effort alive longer than just the active life of the thread in the feed...

Over time, I want authors to see what people actively want to read and hear more of in this community.
Voting on saymore.tv (hopefully) facilitates that process and creators can generate essays/content that hits harder for more people more often than what they can write today.
It's basically MVPs for Creators 🫡

I'd also recommend you taking a leading role in demonstrating the functionality
In my (limited) experience, it's not always obvious how to use a new tool, and it's great to see it implemented by a skilled builder in different contexts to demonstrate its capabilities

Some feedback, it seems that the warpcast android app doesnt pick up the farcaster:// link in those QR codes. when I scan the link, open in warpcast isnt an option

yea as far as I can tell this is a function of the way the deeplinks are generated by the "Sign in w Warpcast" mechanism.
Tagging @dwr.eth and @v for awareness - this is what I mentioned in the dev chat a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately I haven't found a bug fix for it on my end, but there...

There are anecdotal reports of using a 3rd party camera app instead of the native camera opening the link properly - but I haven't recreated it
Really sorry about that, but while you can't vote on SayMore.tv you should still be able to request/respond while in Warpcast/Discove/etc

What happens when someone invites saymore to the chat and the author of the post doesn’t reply? Does it create a record of that conversation somewhere? Or does the “creation” process not start until after the author replies?

It's still stored - once the request is started you can find it on saymore.tv (along with any casts in that thread) and it will get updated with the Author's response when/if they do it.
So all the questions get logged!

Trying to wrap my head around the intent of this product: is it the boost signal-to-noise ratio by storing the signal outside of the general noise of the overall social media site - i.e., bookmarking a thread for easier retrieval at a later date/time?

Two value props:
- For creators/writers, it’s a feedback loop signal of “yea this is actually an idea that hits” that automatically creates an “essay idea feed” for you
- For users, i think it solves the “blank cast problem” with a slightly more structured pull mechanism from creators they like
