The bot scares me lol, but I just meant this place feels infinitely more for devs to chat and share dev things. As an artist with a limited technical range I have way less to share, and I can slowly learn, but generally it feels like an artist would be just noise among the learning. The new channels are nice tho!

i think the devs have found each other, but imo that doesn't have to preclude artists finding each other too

yeah i feel like this a lot too. I don’t understand how to use the “channels” and i just post as i cross-post everywhere. It used to work well for the algo but nowadays it seems that not a lot actually support and just follow for the chance of a followback

If i want to post an art piece, can I just tag the post for it to come up on the art channel? Instead of going on that channel and posting on there directly

Either:
1. Navigate to the Art channel and tap new cast
2. Tap new cast anywhere and tap the label in the composer (default label is “Home”)

Channels solves that?
Dev content is routed to dev channels, easier to discover artists in the art channels.
Devs are the stickiest users from a retention standpoint.

Also when im posting on iPhone SE (2nd gen) ill start typing posts and attaching an image and a link. The image takes over the post and I don’t see what I type anymore. Multiple image posts would be great.

haha bummer - I think there are gif upload constraints
Maybe like 15-20 mb?
Also the “how” of uploading can be finicky.
But I def hear you on that being frustrating
