I started with this first initial image and then using Pixelmator go to this second image.

a few more edits, where I wanted to kind of graffiti it up, got me to the background. Then I found this old add in my camera roll.

Then I used iOS photos tap and hold to isolate the subject and drag it to Pixelmator. And finally some editing to remove her arm with the tootsie.
