GTD is a method of writing tasks down, reviewing and moving them around specific lists: inbox, later (todo), waiting (for someone else/something), done (archive), never (trash)
I have tried All The Apps (TM) and prefer simple text files, stored in the cloud for convenience
Inbox Zero for discipline and self-rewards
Inbox Zero means managing email instead of reacting, with goal of periodically emptying each inbox. It requires simple, fast filing:
- immediate followup or action
- review later
- archive/file forever
- delete forever
Then one can check emails 2-5x daily, leaving said person free to refresh Warpcast every 30 seconds
Absolutely nothing
I sincerely haven’t tried enough things but I find that I’m only good at time management when I have a commitment
E.g. a job or a meeting
I’m terrible at managing time on a day to day basis
